YOUR DAY TO DAY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to join our team, taking on the dual role of Site Security Manager. This position supports Special Programs and involves developing, administering, and maintaining a comprehensive security program in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at interfacing with all levels of management and government customers, ensuring strict compliance with security regulations and directives.

** TS/SCI Department of Defense clearance is required **

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Ensure compliance with DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4, 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other relevant Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives.
  • Provide security guidance on program operations, leading efforts to streamline and centralize personnel security activities across the enterprise.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OPSEC Plans, and Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
  • Serve as the site Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), ensuring the integrity and security of program operations.
  • Create, update, and administer security education, training, and awareness programs, including program indoctrinations and debriefings.
  • Conduct self-inspections and participate in government inspections, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Handle program administrative tasks such as personnel processing, visitor control, program-related investigations, TS Accountability, and the management of program documents/material.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and senior management across multiple program sites and business units.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for program status reviews, both internal and external.
  • Collaborate effectively across multiple organizational levels, from individual contributors to senior executives in both industry and government.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and SSBI/PR within the last 6 years.
  • FSO Certification via the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE).
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in security management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, with a professional image.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Experience in developing and implementing solutions to complex security challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Travel up to 25% (domestic) is required.
  • Ability to maintain tact, discretion, and diplomacy when dealing with employees at all levels.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in Special Program Environments and familiarity with government guidance, including the NISPOM, DoD Volumes, and Program Security Classification Guides (SCGs).
