KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure adherence to DoD Manual Volumes 1-4, 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other relevant security guidelines.
  • Provide expert security advice on program operations, enhancing personnel security activities across the organization.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OPSEC Plans, and Concept of Operations (CONOPs).
  • Act as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), safeguarding the integrity of program operations.
  • Design, implement, and manage security education, training, and awareness initiatives, including program indoctrinations and debriefings.
  • Conduct self-assessments and engage in government inspections, applying corrective measures as required.
  • Oversee administrative functions related to personnel processing, visitor management, program investigations, and document control.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including peers and senior management across various program sites.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for program status reviews, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate across multiple organizational levels, engaging with individuals from entry-level to senior executives in both industry and government.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and SSBI/PR within the last 6 years.
  • FSO Certification from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE).
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in security management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, presenting a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision, demonstrating attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Experience in devising and implementing solutions to complex security issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic) as required.
  • Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and diplomacy when interacting with employees at all levels.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in Special Program Environments and familiarity with government regulations, including the NISPOM, DoD Volumes, and Program Security Classification Guides (SCGs).
