Job DescriptionJob Description

May include:

· Outline annual and midterm strategic plan to contribute business expansion.

· Develop Key Performance Index (KPI) at each key business step.

· Lead each group to achieve KPIs.

· Responsible for budget and its result for each group under Technical Service.

· Improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

· Coordinate with other groups, Sales, PM, Account, Legal, SCM and HR, to improve Technical Service.

· Monitor market/field information to maintain accurate evaluation and strategic planning.

· Provide opportunity for growth to each employee.

· Transfer company message and direction to each employee.

· Provide necessary support for Latin America operation.

· Communicate with factory to solve product technical issue.

· Communicate with DIL Global Service Department to receive necessary support.

· Performs other related job duties as assigned.

· Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs


· Establishes the vision, mission, values and long-term strategies for a division/department

· Provides guidance and leadership to implement transformational change that has broad impact on the achievement of results for the entire organization

· Expected to interact with all levels of the organization especially with top management

· Ensures appropriate talent selection, organization and leadership areas of the organization

· Possess knowledge to capably lead multiple teams of directors

· Has ownership of budget development and monitoring of expenses

· Level of signing authority established by company policy/guidelines

· Provides liaison from field to HQ regarding product issues and provides guidance on path forward countermeasures.

· Issues Technical Service Bulletins as needed to resolve product field issues

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to apply knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning theory and structural layout.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client group.
  • Computer Proficiency with the following software: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to produce clear, timely and concise documentation.
  • Knowledge and practice of safety while using HVAC related tools
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers, sales personnel.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, clients and customers.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership by leading people and getting results through others.
  • Ability to think ahead and plan 5 years ahead.

Experience

Minimum of 15 plus years experience in the HVAC industry, preferably service related
Minimum of 10 plus years in a national or regional service management role

Education/Certification Bachelor’s degree is preferred
