Role and Responsibilities

The Project Manager (PM) will lead the coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. This position will ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget ensuring an incredible experience for the customer. This position represents the company throughout the entire process from the time the sale is confirmed to the time the project has achieved or exceeded the customers expectations.

  • Develop project scope and objectives to meet customer requirements and work directly with all relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the project to problem solve, address delays, emergencies or other issues
  • Identify all resources needed to complete the project up through and including installation
  • Work directly with Operations to ensure resource availability to meet project deadlines
  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs and communicate effectively
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate issues to Operations Director as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management tominimizeproject impacts
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Conduct after action reviews for projects to enable continuous improvement
  • Explain contract and technical matters in a clear and concise way for all parties involved in the project
  • Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the company


Skills & Qualifications

  • Educational background or on the job work experience in project management or industrial engineering
  • Proven working experience as a project manager
  • Excellentwritten (email) and verbal communication skills with both customers and internal team members
  • Ability to delegate when possible
  • Strong capability of leading without authority of peers and building a teamwork mentality
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to use a computer including Microsoft Office and learning internal applications
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand and sit for extended periods of time
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Working knowledge of construction, upholstery and/or wood working a plus

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
