Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence:
Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests regarding insurance policies, coverage, billing, and claims.
Provide accurate information and guidance to clients on various insurance products offered by Farmers Insurance.
Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations with a high level of attention to detail.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and preferences.
Proactively follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
Educate clients on policy features, benefits, and additional coverage options that meet their individual needs.
Administrative Support:
Process insurance policy applications, endorsements, and other related transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain organized client records and documentation in compliance with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with agents and underwriters to resolve client inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
Sales Support:
Assist agents in cross-selling and upselling insurance products to existing clients.
Identify opportunities for policy reviews and coverage enhancements to increase client retention and satisfaction.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with agency team members to achieve overall agency goals and objectives.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge of insurance products and industry trends.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and insurance agency management software (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic).
- Valid insurance license (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
