Position Overview: As a Patient Support Specialist within our digital diagnostic platform, you will deliver exceptional customer service in a collaborative environment. Anticipating patient needs and executing our well-crafted communication strategy is essential for achieving and surpassing patient service goals while upholding our mission and values in every interaction. This role entails providing vital support and assistance to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess robust customer service experience in the healthcare sector or a call center setting, along with a positive demeanor, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.

Work Schedule: This position operates in a hybrid model, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, reporting to the Patient Engagement Manager.

Compensation: The salary range is between $18 - $23, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls, chats, and emails to assist patients with their inquiries.
  • Coordinate patient appointments for medication management and teletherapy services.
  • Provide information regarding our flagship brand, ADHD Online, LLC, and its offerings to prospective patients.
  • Facilitate patient requests for assessment addendums and second opinions from psychologists.
  • Submit requests for patient accommodation letters/forms to psychologists.
  • Process payments and handle refund requests.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address patient needs and concerns.
  • Manage the release of medical records.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize various responsibilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required; some college education preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service or healthcare experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple software systems.
  • Strong capability to employ de-escalation techniques for dissatisfied patients.
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Attention to detail is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical billing and coding is preferred.
  • Background in mental or behavioral health or telehealth is advantageous.
