This position is a part-time coaching position and is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of Lycoming College’s NCAA Division III Field Hockey program.

Founded in 1812, Lycoming College is one of the nation’s oldest and most respected residential liberal arts and sciences colleges and is becoming increasingly recognized for the quality of its experiential programming and for students gaining the skills needed upon graduation in today’s world. Students partner with faculty in doing original research, thrive in a robust program of internships, study abroad in more than two dozen countries, and compete in 19 NCAA Division III sports. Lycoming College’s strong endowment per student provides the foundation to support a first-rate undergraduate education. What will I do in this role?
- Assist in planning and conducting practices, conditioning programs and competitive events.
- Promote the Field Hockey Program – assisting with social media.
- Recruit student-athletics who meeting the College’s admissions requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Collegiate playing experience required.
- Coaching experienced preferred (club, high school or collegiate level).
- Current CPR / First Aid Certification required or ability to obtain prior to starting.
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check for the necessary travel is required
This position is a part-time position that will work 1,450 hours annually at $7.25 per hour. This position is eligible for our excellent retirement benefits Retirement contributions where eligible employees receive a guaranteed 3% contribution from the College and receive a dollar-for-dollar match on employee contributions, up to 6%, for a total maximum retirement contribution from the College of 9%.
