Strength and Conditioning Assistant Coach

Position Overview

Lycoming College is seeking an Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach to support the Head Coach in managing the strength and conditioning initiatives for our varsity athletic teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of tailored training programs for designated teams and student/volunteer interns.
  • Oversee athletic performance operations, ensuring adherence to College, Conference, and NCAA regulations.
  • Supervise the training facility as required.
  • Identify potential injury risks and implement strategies to mitigate these risks while informing participants accordingly.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in collegiate sports performance is required.
  • Current certification from the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist or progress towards SCCC or Master SCC certification is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

This is a part-time role with an annual compensation of $11,700. Employees will enjoy various perks, including:
