We're searching for a permitting coordinator / administrative assistant to provide support to our Operations Team. You’ll be responsible for coordinating all permitting and project administrative activities for solar and electrical work. Applicants should be extremely thorough, organized, and responsive to a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and strong follow-through, and preferably have some background in construction permitting. Compensation:

$19 - $22 hourly DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, submit, track, and follow up on all permitting and inspection, NOC, and utility interconnection documents
  • Travel to customer locations and county offices as needed
  • Provide regular AHJ communication and queue management
  • Maintain project logs utilizing Daylite, Word, and Excel
  • Remotely monitor customer equipment for issues
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Shows ability to quickly finish very detailed work

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions
  • Strong multitasker who can work independently
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle


Preferred

  • Associates Degree
  • Understanding of solar energy systems and roofing
  • Construction permitting experience
  • Proficiency in Apple products and iOS
  • Experience in computerized scheduling systems
  • Notary Public
