Job Summary

Solar Impact, Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee commercial solar installations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered successfully and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to define project needs and ensure timely completion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and hold direct reports accountable for their performance, providing constructive feedback as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards, and conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the office to resolve on-site issues and emergencies, and maintain open lines of communication with project stakeholders.
  • Project Tracking: Monitor and report on project progress, tracking costs and ensuring the project is on budget.
  • Material Management: Requisition project materials and equipment per Materials Management Process, and maintain accurate records of material stock, orders, and equipment on-site.
  • Site Safety: Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly, and conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines applicable to construction job sites, and a strong understanding of solar installation operations and processes.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Certifications: Must be certified in forklift operation, and proficient in MS Office and/or iOS.
