As a Clean Room Project Planner/Coordinator you will:

  • Communicate the status of individual jobs to the job-level customer once approved for production
  • Develop and manage overall shop production/capacity schedule (throughput) based on priority
  • Define job level work queue and job level priorities
  • Develop and maintain rolling wave projection for shop capacity
  • Perform other duties as required

Requisition Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 0-2 years of experience
  • Excellent verbal communication and written presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple/concurrent tasks
  • Able to make lab operation and scheduling decisions autonomously
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Requisition Preferences:

  • BA or BS degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university, plus six (6) years of progressive and relevant experience. Additional relevant education may be substituted for progressive experience - or - requires two (2) years of college with courses in business administration, industrial management, or appropriate discipline with eight (8) years of progressive and relevant experience.   • Knowledge of JSC hardware classifications
  • Experience with Smartsheet
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of cleanroom processes and procedures

Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency may be a requirement for this position.

Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which this position has been advertised.

Essential Functions

Work Environment

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Attendance

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
