As the Community Lifestyle Director, you get to support our many communities across Texas, where you will create epic experiences to delight our residents and define both our "build to rent" lifestyle and Master Planned Community immersion. We are energetic, fun and fully dedicated to making connections in our communities.
Ultimately, your priority is to create a company-wide platform that supports our onsite teams and provides our residents with memorable experiences.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Here are just a few other responsibilities you will have throughout your day:
- Create an annual calendar of event options, library of activity, event and SOP details for onsite execution that meet the dynamic needs of each community.
- Organize and manage monthly events, ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale events.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners, and suppliers to ensure the highest quality service and products.
- Ensure a smooth operation and service experience by effectively communicating with each of your team members, management, and guests.
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences by maintaining high service standards.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including indirect team members who need extra support in event management
- Manage the approved budget, including revenue and expense tracking for financial success.
- Make sure the communities are clean, tidy, cozy, and always show-ready for events.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and team support for event management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Team up with the marketing department to design and implement monthly promotions, newsletters and calendar of events.
- Stay updated on industry trends.
- Monitor service quality and make adjustments as necessary.
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly, providing information about our services, programming, and other inquiries.
- Address resident's concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- High-five your team when they're awesome and give them a hand when they need it.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 plus years of events, activity and marketing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a management role (or vendor management), preferably within the real estate, construction, or related industries.
- Someone who works well by themselves and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful event and engagement strategies across both online and offline channels.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and market insights to inform marketing decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey marketing strategies and results to stakeholders.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, to effectively communicate with a diverse audience and expand market reach.
Essential Functions:
- Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, and after hours or on weekends as needed.
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
- Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills.
- Lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
