Marketing and Communications Director

Urban Grid Solar Projects, LLC is a leading independent power producer driving a rapid and sustainable energy transition. We are seeking a seasoned Marketing and Communications Director to lead our marketing and communications efforts, shaping our brand's narrative and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies to drive business objectives.
  • Lead corporate marketing development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media, events, and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to align departmental communications with broader corporate initiatives and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain crisis communication strategies and serve as the company's spokesperson in emergency situations.
  • Represent the company's brand and establish internal brand ambassadors to support marketing, project, and business development efforts.
  • Ensure effective internal communication, fostering alignment and engagement with company objectives.
  • Manage public relations efforts, including press releases, media inquiries, conferences, and industry presentations to elevate the company's profile in the renewable energy space.
  • Oversee the creation and management of marketing content, including website updates, newsletters, social media content, email campaigns, and other promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and representation across all marketing channels, supporting the company's long-term strategic vision.
  • Lead the company's participation in industry events, trade shows, conferences, internal events/summits, and project-specific events, including developing event strategy, managing logistics, and optimizing marketing impact.
  • Identify and establish strategic marketing partnerships and collaborations with industry stakeholders to enhance the company's profile, visibility, and reach.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and impactful messages.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and communications strategies.
  • Experience managing marketing and communications budgets and tracking performance metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning abilities combined with sound business acumen.
  • Energy industry experience preferred.
