What does a Vehicle Prep Tech do?

  • Hand wash cars using a hot water pressure washer, car brushes, and automotive cleaners.
  • Remove bugs, brake dust, and sap using a clay compound.- Clean wheels, tires, trim, and engine bays with a degreaser.
  • Carefully, CAREFULLY move vehicles around our shop.
  • Update paperwork as vehicles are completed.
  • Maintain extremely clean tools and workspace.
Requirements:

This job requires you to possess the ability to stay on your feet for prolonged periods without feeling fatigued. Additionally, you should be comfortable with performing manual tasks that involve getting your hands dirty. Expect to work with wet materials during the day, so make sure you are okay with getting wet. This is a physically demanding job that requires you to engage in labor-intensive work.
