ICallidus is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect Lead who will lead architecture design efforts to modernize NIH’s IT infrastructure. This position involves working closely with NIH stakeholders to align technical architecture with strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise-wide IT architecture to support NIH’s research and operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with NIH teams to ensure integration with existing systems and future scalability.
  • Conduct assessments of current infrastructure and develop migration strategies for cloud environments and IT modernization.
  • Ensure that architecture complies with NIH security policies, Section 508 standards, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a minimum of 5 years leading large-scale architecture projects in a federal environment specifically NIH research environment, HHS or any of HHS’s sub agencies.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, cybersecurity frameworks, and IT governance. Familiarity with NIH’s infrastructure and research data systems is preferred.
  • Certifications: TOGAF or similar architecture certification such as Open CA, Zachman Certified Architecture, or CBA desired highly preferred. Security certifications (e.g., CISSP) are a plus.
  • Experience and familiarity with EPLC,TBM,and CPIC environments are a must.
  • Strong background and understanding of FEAF and TOGAF framework.
  • Strong understanding with CPIC, OMB, GAO, NIH, and HHS compliance.
  • Ensure that architecture complies with NIH security policies, Section 508 standards, and industry best practices.
  • Experience in delivering architecture solutions for federal agencies or large research institutions.
  • In-depth experience in architecture, ability to develop compliant and successful past performance of delivery scalable, IT infrastructure.

Clearance:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance. US Citizen is required.
