Position Overview: We are seeking an organized and analytical Bookkeeper Intern to support our finance department in various bookkeeping and accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain practical experience in bookkeeping within a healthcare setting. The internship is unpaid but offers valuable learning opportunities and the chance to contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with recording and maintaining financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Help prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
• Support the reconciliation of bank statements and financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Help maintain and organize financial files and documentation.
• Provide support in budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in bookkeeping and financial management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
