Open Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm

Job Description: As a Patient Services Representative at Wee Care Pediatrics, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive top-notch care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate scheduling of appointments.
  • Efficiently routing messages to the appropriate departments.
  • Warmly greeting and checking-in patients.
  • Updating personal and insurance information.
  • Collecting co-pays and payments on accounts.
  • Monitoring the waiting area to maintain a smooth patient flow.
  • Plus, you'll take on other duties as needed to support our mission of providing exceptional care.

Job Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience is highly recommended.
  • Experience in a medical office setting is desired but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication skills for interactions with providers, staff, patients, and parents.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.
  • Basic computer knowledge and a professional phone etiquette.
  • A minimum of a GED or High School diploma.
