Day to day as a Desktop Operator

As a Desktop Operator at Modern Litho, you'll utilize your expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel to excel in this role. While graphic design skills are a plus, the main responsibilities involve file analysis, editing files, color correcting, formatting, and programming mailing lists. Your keen eye for detail and proficiency in software applications will be critical in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our print materials.

To thrive as a Desktop Operator at Modern Litho, proficiency in a range of software tools is essential. The ideal candidate will be adept in Adobe Creative Suite, Imposition Quite Imposing, Enfocus Pitstop Pro for PDF software, Fusion Pro for Variable Data Software, and Office 365, particularly Excel. Familiarity with both Mac and PC platforms is required, with a predominant use of Mac computers. Key skills for success include file analysis, file correction and editing, file imposition, mail list formatting and programming, sending files to output devices and printers, photo color correction, and a solid foundation in graphic design.
