Help Desk/Desktop Technician

We are actively seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join our client, a law firm with offices in Los Angeles, Newport Beach, and NYC, is searching for a proactive individual with strong technical and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft ecosystems, VMware, and variety of other tools, hardware and devices. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing support for the company’s IT infrastructure and assisting with various projects. You will be an integral member of a small team, fostering opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Location: Onsite 5 days is Los Angeles, Newport Beach, or New York City

This jobs is expected to pay about $50k-65k annually plus great benefits

What You Will Do:

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows, Servers, Office 365, SharePoint, etc.
  • Manage and maintain VMware environments.
  • Assist in configuring and managing Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Document all support interactions and resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to end-users as needed.

What Gets You The Job:

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Microsoft ecosystems (Windows and Servers); familiarity with Linux is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Windows O365, SharePoint, and other Microsoft applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with VMware.
  • Knowledgeable about Microsoft Azure and Office 365 configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a law firm environment is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
