About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with a leading organization in the health insurance sector to hire experienced Call Center Representatives. This role is a 6-month contract, providing an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a reputable client.


Job Description:

The Call Center Representative will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service by handling a high volume of calls and inquiries related to health insurance. The role requires a deep understanding of medical insurance processes and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and empathetically.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of plan provisions, benefit schedules, eligibility systems, and claim processes.
  • Address inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, explaining claim payments, denials, and eligibility with clarity and accuracy.
  • Accurately document all interactions in the Customer Service module.
  • Execute clerical tasks including processing enrollment forms, disability claims, and special fund claims.
  • Guide participants in navigating the client’s website and provide relevant information.
  • Monitor call queues and manage incoming calls using the call management system.
  • Participate in special projects and support other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical insurance call center or medical claims processing.
  • Bilingual proficiency is highly preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Experience with Third-Party Administrators (TPA) or major insurance carriers is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a positive, adaptable attitude.
  • Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality.

Additional Details:

  • Duration: 6-month contract
  • Schedule: 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday
  • This position requires on-site work.
