POSITION SUMMARY

Manage the regular creation of supply chain plans to meet the organization's inventory, service, and financial objectives. Track supply plan adherence, manage supply planning exceptions, and participate in the S&OP process.

Essential Function Statement(s)

  • Manage the weekly creation and publishing of the company Supply Plan and ensure the plan is optimized to achieve our service objectives while keeping inventory at appropriate levels
  • Responsible for Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), ensuring appropriate distribution of inventory across our DCs and 3PLs
  • Responsible for Identifying, mitigating, and communicating supply planning exceptions
  • Participate in S&OP process and including publishing monthly Supply Plan, Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP), and Inventory Plan
  • Participate in Supply Chain governance processes including the demand handover, supply handover, planning exceptions, and material exceptions
  • Parter closely with Sales Operations and Customer Service to understand customer and business priorities
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including case fill rate, inventory turns, days forward coverage, and slow-moving and obsolete (SLOB) inventory ratio
  • Manage product phase-in and phase-out planning and communication
  • Document and maintain written processes and procedures
  • Maintain effective relationships and regular proactive communications with key stakeholders
  • Drive out waste within the supply planning, supply chain, and S&OP processes
  • Participate in and lead critical supply chain systems and optimization projects
  • Additional duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Other Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Supply Planning, Production Planning, MRP, MPS, etc…
  • Good understanding of Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, and Supply Chain processes
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools like Domo, Power BI, Tableau, etc…
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or relevant degree or equivalent experience and minimum of six years experience in a relevant field
  • Familiarity with Demand Planning concepts
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience with end-to-end supply chain planning software like OMP, Kinaxis, O9, Blue Yonder, a plus
  • Practical understanding of MRP and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
  • Experience in supply chain system implementations with project management being a plus
  • Ability to utilize data-driven decision-making alongside creativity and instinct
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to problem solve and find solutions independently

Pay, Benefits & Perks:

The estimated annual pay for this role is $95,000 to $115,000. This pay is an estimate, and the exact compensation may vary depending on an applicant's location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may also include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission) if applicable.
