We are seeking a dynamic inside sales manager to join our growing North American sales team. This individual will be someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, is a self-starter with impeccable attention to detail, along with strong written and oral communication skills. This position will lead and manage a team of inside sales representatives and will oversee the revenue production, KPI management, process adherence, and morale of the inside sales team. This inside sales manager position will be a player-coach and is expected to spend 10% of their time serving as an example and using a personal sales goal as a coaching tool to drive performance within their team. Their responsibilities will include all aspects of managing an inside sales team as defined below:

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Hire, train, coach and lead a local team of Inside Sales Representatives to be high-performing.
  • Responsible for driving team performance to achieve monthly goals.
  • Establishes, manages, and tracks scorecards and KPI’s for the inside sales team.
  • Exceeds personal sales goals.
  • Ensures that their team is following established sales and operational processes.
  • Establishes techniques to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Holds regular team meetings to share expectations, ideas, and best practices.
  • Conduct one on one meetings with inside sales representatives for coaching, performance reviews, and accountability.
  • Heads onboarding and on-the-job training for new inside sales representatives.
  • Works cross-functionally with other departments (marketing, customer success, training)
  • Have an intimate understanding of the company’s products/services and keep current with the latest industry trends and news.
  • Comply with and ensure department compliance with Metrasens’ health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.
  • Other duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience and demonstrated success in managing an inside sales team. Experience selling into the education, state/local government, or healthcare markets is preferred but not required.
  • Have extensive experience as an individual contributor in an inside sales atmosphere (phone sales).
  • A proven track record of successfully building a growing team is essential.
  • Experience selling high-technology equipment.
  • Be able to handle high-pressure situations and work in a target-oriented environment.
  • Extensive experience working in a CRM like SFDC.
  • Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills, in a virtual environment.

  • Great leadership skills with a coaching mindset
  • Self-motivated, data-driven, and proactive approach to managing a sales team.
  • Ability to establish and maintain a professional relationship with customers/prospects.
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills

Supervises:

  • Team of Inside Sales Representatives

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Will be required to consistently work across numerous time zones
  • Ability to think strategically and develop strategic plans.
  • Ability to work and lead in a team environment.
  • Deal with different personalities and overcome communication barriers

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The Inside Sales Manager's primary workstation will be in a corporate office setting. The Inside Sales Manager will work alongside their team of inside sales representatives at the company’s North American operation center.

COMPENSTION: $80,000 TO $90,000 plus commission OTE $130,000.00
