Biddeford, United States Cornerstones of Maine Full time
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:

Cornerstones of Maine is excited to announce the opening for a full-time Administrative Director. This is a position that offers opportunities to lead our Administrative Department, which provides the necessary support for our young adult transition program to do their phenomenal work. The incoming Administrative Director would replace our co-founder, who has served as Administrative Director since our founding 8 years ago. The role will include complete oversight of all administrative company functions, such as payroll, accounting, human resources, quality assurance, and risk management. Given the size of our company, the administrative department has only two staff, so this is a hands-on position. The Administrative Director will have extensive opportunities for project development and considerable independence in developing initiatives whose scope affects the entirety of the program and business, but they will also be expected to oversee some of the smaller minutiae that ensures that the business runs smoothly. The ideal candidate has experience in the mental health field and is familiar with all of the administrative functions mentioned above.

Who is Cornerstones of Maine?

Cornerstones of Maine is a boutique, private-pay, residential program that provides a suite of transitional support services to young adults. Cornerstones of Maine is the fastest growing therapeutic program in Maine, having tripled in size in 5 years. Founded by two clinical psychologists in 2015, Cornerstones has become one of the most respected residential programs in the country, offering a therapeutic experience that is inaccessible in today’s insurance-bound mental health field.

Our program meets the needs of young adult clients who are struggling to transition to independence and learning how to take care of their mental health. We utilize an integrated therapeutic model and our psychotherapists carry a small caseload of clients, providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy. The therapeutic milieu encourages a dynamic, team-treatment approach which allows our staff members to support and collaborate with each other on cases. Our psychotherapists participate in ongoing training and weekly individual and group supervision. Our psychotherapists also present regularly at academic and professional conferences all over the country. This is a very exciting position that incorporates fascinating clinical work and opportunities for intensive study of clinical technique.
