If YES, then join us as the VP Advertising Technology on site in New York

What do you need for the job?

  • Are you an EXPERT with Google Ad Manager and Springserve?

  • Have you integrated new SSPs and DSPs with both GAM and Springserve? Can you do it without assistance?

  • Can you set-up / activate a new campaign in both GAM and Springserve, unassisted?

  • Can you analyze the ad calls being made from websites and applications?

  • Can read HTML and analyze the javascript / ad calls being made?

    • Can you open a web browser code analyzer tool and read the HTML?

    • Can you do the same or operate a simulator for a mobile device or SmartTV to analyze the ad calls?

(Answers have to all be “Yes” with examples of where you have done it during you career and be prepared to take a skill test to prove it – either verbally or written / online).

  • You will not be writing scripts as we have teams that do that, but you do need understanding of SQL Queries.

What's the job?

As the VP of Advertising Technology, you'll be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge video advertising technology programs and projects that power our revenue generation efforts. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the seamless execution of our video ad product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive excellence, iteration, and innovation.

This role will be reporting directly to the CTO and will be about 50%-70% hands on with tools, activation, integration, and debugging campaigns.

Some day to day responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of end-to-end video advertising technology solutions.

  • Collaborate with the Ad Ops team to troubleshoot critical video ad serving issues and ensure quick resolution.

  • Shape the video ad technology roadmap to support revenue-generating initiatives.

  • Act as the internal Video Ad Product Manager, articulating and managing the video ad products, roadmap, and pipeline.

  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and streaming OTT platforms to enhance our ad products.

  • Assist in revenue generation reporting for various teams.

  • Ensure quality throughout the delivery process, conducting thorough QA testing scenarios.

  • Drive continuous improvement in processes and procedures, striving for excellence in all aspects of ad technology.

  • Set clear goals and objectives, acting as a point of escalation and providing guidance throughout execution.

Some skills that are nice to have:

  • Deep understanding of Video Ad Serving Protocols (VAST, VPAID) and types of video ads.

  • Strong grasp of the digital ad serving, programmatic, and measurement technology ecosystem.

  • Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot VAST, HTML, and Javascript.

  • Agile development and project management experience, familiarity with application development cycles or Product Development Cycles.
