Location : Decatur, GA

Summary:

Strive360 is hiring a Groundskeeper to ensure the general upkeep and appearance of our properties in Decatur, GA. The Groundskeeper will perform landscaping and maintenance tasks using both power equipment and hand tools. Key responsibilities include maintaining the safety and functionality of all properties, ensuring they are visually appealing and well-kept. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of handling various outdoor maintenance tasks, and committed to creating a welcoming environment for residents.

What you will be doing:

  • Inspects each property daily to ensure cleanliness and visual appeal.
  • Uses proper tools and power equipment in a safe manner.
  • Maintains an organized and clean mail room.
  • Replaces fixtures promptly and as needed.
  • Responds to property maintenance requests.
  • Installs and moves a variety of appliances.
  • Monitors, cleans, and replaces air conditioning vents and filters as needed.
  • Inspects and maintains appearance of pool deck.
  • Inspects and cleans vacant properties between tenants.
  • Assists the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician as requested.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months or less experience in groundskeeping, caretaking, or janitorial tasks.
  • Extensive knowledge of landscaping and maintenance techniques and processes.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Possesses a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use the required hand tools to complete requests.
  • Ability to operate various types of power equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete tasks by required deadlines.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds at a time.
  • Ability to walk, reach, stretch, stoop, bend, and use hands and fingers.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Must be physically able to operate maintenance equipment.
  • Must be able to attend to after-hour maintenance emergencies as needed.
