In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our agency's outreach efforts, ensuring effective communication, and fostering community connections.

Responsibilities:

  • Community Needs Assessment and Data Collection:
    • Collaborate on planning community needs assessments, particularly for Spanish-speaking audiences.
    • Help to gather and analyze data from surveys, questionnaires, and stakeholder meetings.
    • Prepare impactful reports on engagement outcomes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Maintain accurate records by inputting outreach and event data into our agency database.
    • Assist with ordering and organizing marketing materials and promotional items.
    • Manage mailing lists and coordinate mailings.
  • Social Media Engagement:
    • Help to create engaging social media posts targeting Spanish-speaking audiences.
    • Respond to social media communications, comments, and emails.
    • Facilitate online conversations to build community connections.
  • Event Logistics:
    • Plan event logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audio/visual needs.
    • Develop event budgets and secure vendor quotes.
    • Coordinate with vendors, volunteers, and staff for seamless event execution.
  • Community Engagement Activities:
    • Attend and co-facilitate community tabling opportunities, focus groups, and town halls.
    • Recruit volunteers for outreach events, including students, agency partners, and community members.


  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
  • High school diploma (Associate's degree preferred).
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft programs.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp) for community outreach.
  • Experience with databases and data entry.
  • Flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends for outreach events.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks.

Additional Information:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Completion of a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check required.
  • 30-40 hours per week.
  • Full paid benefits are available.

Compensation: $20-$22 per hour.
