Location: Hybrid, Bethesda, MD

As a System Integrator with DevSecOps expertise, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing IT and Security Management visibility at a federal healthcare customer by building robust integrations between a diverse array of autonomous tools. You will create a consolidated view of tool data to pave the way for improved automation, incident detection and response, and risk prioritization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tool Integration & Automation:

    • Develop seamless integrations between various IT and security tools, including but not limited to Sunflower, ScienceLogic, Active Directory/LDAP, Tenable, CDM tools (BigFix, Splunk, ForeScout, Archer), Cloud Services, Infoblox, Ansible, Puppet, JAMF, Altiris, ServiceNow, RedSeal, and McAfee ePO.
    • Utilize API's Rest and SOAP integrations to create central data sources by correlating data from various tools and creating dashboards and other consolidated views.
  2. Data Aggregation & Visualization:

    • Employ tools such as PowerBI, PowerApps, Excel, Splunk, ServiceNow, or other enterprise software solutions to aggregate data, creating a comprehensive view that aids in incident detection, response, and risk measurement.
    • Develop workflows and dashboards in SharePoint, Splunk, and ServiceNow to enhance information security management and provide CIT with mature tools to monitor overall organizational cyber hygiene.
  3. Risk Mitigation & Prioritization:

    • Centralize data sources and interfaces, correlating and prioritizing them to apply effective risk mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure the delivery of integrated data that supports the development of more sophisticated monitoring tools and techniques.
  4. Technical Expertise & Development:

    • Utilize your proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Ruby, Oracle, PostGRE, SQL, mySQL, Java, PHP, Splunk, ServiceNow, Python, JavaScript, C++, Excel, VBA, and SharePoint to build and maintain integration solutions.
    • Stay updated with the latest developments and certifications in the field, such as Redhat, Puppet, and DBA certifications, to continually improve integration and security processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-5 years' relevant experience as a System Integrator / Programmer and with DevSecOps disciplines to build integration between NIH and CIT's collection of mostly autonomous tools to improve IT and Security Management visibility
  • Developer Certifications such as: Redhat, Puppet, Ruby, Oracle, DBA, PostGRE, SQL, mySQL, Java, PHP, Splunk, ServiceNow, Python, JavaScript, C++, Excel, VBA, SharePoint
  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field
  • Ability for creation of a consolidated view of tool data to help pave the way for better automation, incident detect and response, risk measuring and prioritization. Use of available tools such as PowerBI, PowerApps, Excel, Splunk, ServiceNow and/or new enterprise software solutions for data aggregation
  • Familiarity with API's Rest SOAP integrations, creating central data source(s) by correlating data from various sources & creating Dashboards and other consolidated views to provide CIT with more mature tools to monitor overall organizational cyber hygiene
  • Experience as a systems integrator to develop the integrated delivery of data from Sunflower, ScienceLogic, Active Directory/LDAP, Tenable, CDM tools such as BigFix, Splunk, ForeScout, Archer, IRT and NS Portals, Cloud Services, Infoblox, Ansible, Puppet, JAMF, Altiris, ServiceNow, RedSeal, McAfee ePO
  • Ability to centralize data sources and interfaces and to correlate and prioritize apply risk mitigation strategies
  • Ability to build workflows in SharePoint, Splunk, ServiceNow for purposes of Information Security Management

Desired Qualifications:

  • IT Security certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, Security+ preferred.

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

*This position is contingent upon future contract award to Gunnison.
