Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to support our mission clients in the Intelligence Community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases and database services in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement databases and database services in the cloud (AWS, Azure)
  • Database engineering to include schema development, designing/implementing data ingestion procedures
  • Lightweight data engineering, including data cleaning and conditioning, and loading into local and cloud databases
  • SQL design and implementation as part of database creation, maintenance, and in response to ADHOC query needs for mission purposes
  • Designing and building specialized tools utilizing the database to generate custom products, including document automation
  • Opportunities to contribute significantly to other data science tasks beyond database needs, dependent upon candidate interest and capabilities
Requirements
  • Database administration experience, including cloud-based platforms
  • Working knowledge of data and ETL topics
  • Experience with Cloud DevOps (AWS, Azure)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide audience-appropriate written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work with seniors in a diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environment and manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 4 or more years of relevant experience
