JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

Job Summary:

  • Associate performs quality Diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
  • He/she operates diagnostic equipment and processes images.
  • Associate prepares patients X-ray room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated and delivers patient services using various imaging modalities.
  • Associate practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
  • He/she maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and co- workers.
  • Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals.

Requirements:

  • ARRT RADIOGRAPHY
  • LICENSE TX MED RAD TECH
  • BLS (AHA)WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE
  • ASSOCIATES OR BETTER IN RADIOGRAPHY: GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED PROGRAM IN RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGY EITHER HOSPITAL BASED OR COLLEGE DEGREE PROGRAM
  • 2 YEARS' EXPERIENCE AS A RAD TECH SPECIAL PROCEDURES l, WORKING IN AN INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY OR CARDIO CATH LAB UNIT
  • PREFERRED: ADVANCED ARRT REGISTRATION
  • PREFERRED: INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY CERTIFICATION
