Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Identify each patient, review their chart and previous examinations for consistency, and record pertinent data at all times.
  • Image Quality: Review each examination for technical accuracy, present completed examinations to radiologists, and communicate pertinent data to healthcare professionals.
  • Equipment Operation: Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification on all images.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology; associate's degree preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; Certification by the Texas Department of Health (students will have a temporary license only).
  • Skills: Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, ability to recognize subtle differences between healthy and pathological areas, and knowledge of radiographic examinations and procedures.
