  • Utilizes advanced imaging equipment to capture and process medical images.
  • Prepares the imaging environment, including patient readiness, equipment setup, and necessary supplies.
  • Adheres to established radiation safety protocols during all imaging procedures.
  • Ensures a secure and comfortable atmosphere for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Contributes to the achievement of departmental and organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in Radiography
  • Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist License
  • BLS certification (AHA) required within 30 days of employment
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiography from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in Special Procedures, specifically in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Lab
  • Preferred: Advanced ARRT certification
  • Preferred: Certification in Interventional Radiology
