Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring a qualified, patient-care-focused Customer Service Specialistto work in a large hospital facility in Houston, TX.

The Customer Service Specialistis responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance and support related to operations of computer hardware, software, and network issues with a high degree of customer satisfaction, technical knowledge, and timeliness either by resolving the issue or by delegating and coordinating efforts of other Information Technology staff in support of 24/7 operations.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides first response to moderately complex technical support to customers through a variety of support channels, such as but not limited to telephone and email. Records inquiries, repair, and service requests, resolves or directs requests to appropriate technical areas, tracks status, and follows up to ensure client satisfaction. Escalates to or consults with senior staff when the solution is unclear.


Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Required
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a customer service-related position or call center environment, preferably health care related
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve and de-escalate customer order issues and complaints.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Adaptable and flexible to changes within the supply chain.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Phone skills, including experience with complex or multi-line systems.
  • Problem solving/quick learner. Taking an issue and figuring out one of the multiple ways to get an answer in our system.
  • Enjoys working on a team, more than a year preferred. Due to working through a shared inbox detailed communication is a must.
  • Some type of distribution/warehouse experience. Knowing medical supplies is a bonus.
  • Positive attitude and the want to show up every day.


Job Details:

  • Schedule: M-F 7 am – 3:30 pm May be required to flex schedule as needed
  • Starting at $20/hr. (Based on experience)
  • Full benefits – healthcare, dental, vision, 401k program.
