Camp Bow Wow Plano in Plano, TX is looking for one groomer to join our 21 person strong team.

At Camp Bow Wow Plano, we are looking to launch our full-service grooming business with the right candidate. We are an established business with over 6 years of dog daycare and boarding business in the Plano area. We are located on 2060 W Spring Creek Pkwy Ste 404. Our location has offered basic grooming services for the past 6 years, but not full service grooming. We have an established set of customers to market to and a database of over 4000 contacts. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable and is certified in the state of Texas to groom dogs professionally or has at least 2 years of self-taught experience in an professional environment.

Camp Bow Wow Plano Groomer Job Description:

• Welcoming the customer and his/her dog and confirming the service expectations; bath with shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, deep brushing or furmination treatment, cleaning ears, brushing teeth, clipping and/or dremel nails, expressing anal glands, performing hair cut to the customer's specifications or AKC standards, delivering the dog to the pet parent at pickup, and thanking customers for their business

• Supplying and maintenance of your own cutting utensils (scissors, clippers, etc.)

• Daily cleaning and overall tidiness of the grooming and bathing space

• Working with Camp management to define Grooming service offerings and associated pricing and packages

• Working with Camp management on policies, procedures, forms, etc. to support Grooming services

• Working with Camp management to engage in external events that promote Camp and our Grooming services approximately 1 event per quarter

You will join our team as a Groomer. This is a 100% commission position paid bi-weekly with the opportunity to work hourly in camp. You also agree to devote all of your working time, and apply all of your skill, ability, and energy to the faithful performance of such duties and responsibilities as the Company may assign during your employment, including any goals or expectations for sales, revenue, and productivity. 

Qualifications

  • Certified Groomer or self-taught with at least 2 years experience
  • Two successful groom appointments completed at camp
