About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Accel at Willow Bend in Plano, TX. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, promoting their independence, and supporting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care to residents in a safe and comfortable manner, consistent with community policy.
  • Resident Support: Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
  • Communication: Advise supervising charge nurses of resident status at the beginning and end of shifts.
  • Care Planning: Contribute knowledge of resident conditions/needs to resident care plans.
  • Implementation: Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within established policy and procedure.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe and report on residents' conditions, and document observations as required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment is clean and functional.
  • Incidental Tasks: Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Requirements
  • State Certification: State certification as a nursing assistant.
  • Duties Familiarity: Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
  • Observation Skills: Highly developed observation skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
