Miss Kitty's Fishing Getaways, part of the VTrips family of brands, is seeking a seasonal Guest Service Agent to join the team for the summer season. This position will end on or around September 30, 2024.


Essential Functions

  • Build and maintain relationships with guests, owners, and community partners
  • Communicate with guests and owners, provide property and area information, and resolve concerns and issues
  • Review and update property notes and folios
  • Create and modify reservations, provide price quotes, and process payments and fees
  • Create property blocks and work orders, communicating with Maintenance and vendors to ensure timely completion
  • Troubleshoot customer service and maintenance issues
  • Stay up to date on new properties, updated properties, and other inventory changes to ensure accurate communication
  • Run reservations and maintenance reports daily
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Perform after hours, on-call duties on a rotational basis
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned
Requirements:
  • At least two (2) years of customer service experience required, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to reliably commute to and from work.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background screening.

  • Must be able to sit 90% of the time and stand or walk 10% of the time
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms, push, pull, bend, stretch, twist, crouch, squat, climb, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

VTrips is open and operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, this position will typically work 40 hours per week, to be distributed according to the operational needs of the business. Must be able to work flexible hours and days; weekends and holidays are required. Position may require occasional availability for extended hours based on business needs.
