Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummary: The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is a detail oriented, empathetic, team member working to assist the Senior Marketing & Communications Coordinator, ensuring marketing content, collateral and social media needs are met within Her Song. This team member’s primary focus will be content creation and brand continuity. Responsibilities:
Strategic Development:
  • Assists the Senior Marketing and Communications coordinator in executing the overall marketing strategy set by the TTF marketing team and Senior Marketing and Communications Coordinator.

Content Creation and Coordination:
  • Creates impactful content that aligns with Her Song's mission.
  • Develops internal and external materials to strategically support the programming and growth of Her Song.
  • Streamlines presentations and materials to ensure accessibility and easy adaptability.
  • Assists in ensuring consistent branding across materials.
  • Assists the Her Song team members in the creation of materials for internal and external use, ensuring brand continuity (primarily supporting CEC’s and VOC’s).
  • Assists in upholding and promoting organizational culture through internal communication channels.
  • Assists in disseminating important information to the Her Song team.
  • Helps execute strategy for internal communications by managing the Her Song internal newsletter, a welcome email for new team members, etc.
Social Media Management:
  • Manages Her Song’s city social media pages (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) with the guidance of the Senior Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
  • Supports Community Engagement Coordinators in organizing social media calendars and content creation for local platforms.

Email Marketing:
  • Manages Her Song's quarterly city newsletters through the email marketing platform.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience.
  • Very detail oriented.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive, cooperative, and professional attitude at all times and in interactions with volunteers, staff, and residents.
