Mobile Home Stuff Store is currently seeking a strong Inside Sales associate for our Fond du Lac WI location. This position will assist and support our customers with their business needs. The role involves building relationships with customers, thoroughly understanding their needs and opportunities, and generating additional business through upselling, introducing new products, or providing alternatives. This position ensures 100% customer satisfaction by maintaining assigned accounts professionally.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Receive and accurately enter incoming telephone/email orders from customers into the computer system.
  • Initiate outgoing communication to customers to sell designated products and inform them of route cut-off information daily, supporting sales programs and goals.
  • Inform customers of new products, programs, and services, and attempt to upsell or recommend substitutes.
  • Listen to customer requests or complaints, institute proper procedures to resolve issues or fulfill requests.
  • Accurately maintain records and logs to ensure prompt and efficient handling of business.
  • Communicate with the credit department to ensure all orders are cleared and released.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Review open orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Work within established pricing guidelines.
  • Communicate back orders to the customer and to purchasing.
  • Collaborate with the Territory Sales Manager to maintain and grow existing business and identify prospects/sales leads.
  • Communicate competitive information and product forecasting when applicable.
  • Complete New Product Request forms when needed.
  • Accurately answer customers' questions regarding products and warranty.
  • Qualify leads, identify opportunities, influence decisions, and close business opportunities.
  • Assist in the showroom/counter as required.
  • Maintain daily activities on social media and backend website changes.
  • Responsible for the growth of business in specific regions and/or territories and may be assigned specific key accounts.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Prior inside sales or other selling experience preferred.
  • Housing industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Ability to learn new systems, procedures, and many products quickly.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Question items that do not look correct and can problem-solve on the spot.
  • Excellent data entry skills in terms of accuracy and quantity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Professional demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to sell products and services over the telephone.
  • Demonstrate a customer service attitude and the ability to be a team player.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
