We are seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team in our young toddler classroom working with our one year olds. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students. Your passion for education, experience working with children, and expertise in classroom management will contribute to the growth and development of our students.

**Qualifications:**
- At least 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed child care setting
- Strong background in classroom and behavior management techniques
- Knowledge of infant and toddler care principles and developmental milestones
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with parents, co-workers, and leadership

Duties

**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students
- Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to promote positive student behavior
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure physical/social emotional/academic growth
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress
-Provide daily care needs to our young toddlers including, but not limited to, diaper changing, potty training, meal times, rest time, and more.

Requirements

*Minimum of 1 year of experience in a licensed child care program
*Minimum of 12 ECE credits or credits in a related field
