Are you an experienced, talented, and committed account manager with a strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills? PCS-HC is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team, covering the Northern Virginia region. If you have a background in sales, particularly in Skilled and Non-Skilled Home Health Care, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent PCS-HC and develop professional relationships with physicians, hospitals, public health agencies, nurse associations, and medical societies.
  • Network with case managers and discharge planners to increase awareness of PCS-HC services and our reputation for clinical quality and care management.
  • Build relationships with referral sources through presentations, face-to-face contacts, phone calls, and meetings to drive revenue through direct referrals.
  • Maintain comprehensive weekly reports of leads, including contact details and key information.
  • Contact patients to confirm demographic information, discuss financial responsibilities, and provide necessary order processing details.
  • Ensure accuracy in patient information, including demographic data, prescriptions, physician data, and insurance eligibility.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and participate in PCS-HCs Quality of Care initiatives.
  • Implement sound marketing and promotional strategies to boost business development.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral and payer sources.
  • Monitor community, customer, payer, and patient perceptions of PCS-HC as a high-quality service provider.
  • Provide leadership in strategic planning, identifying opportunities for enhanced services.
  • Keep abreast of competitors' market positioning.
  • Conduct at least 35 visits per week, including a mix of medical, non-medical, new, and follow-up calls.
  • Establish a minimum of 2 new clients per week or 24 clients per quarter.
  • Represent PCS-HC at trade shows, conventions, and conferences as assigned.
  • Develop and execute specific sales and market development plans aligned with company goals.
  • Provide regular feedback to corporate management on sales activities and market development success.
  • Represent PCS-HC within the healthcare community with professionalism and respect for patient care.
Qualifications:
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, medical office, or customer service roles; home health experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
