About Information Technology…
The Information Technology (I.T.) department is responsible for the operations, support, management, implementation, and integration of information technology and telecommunication services for all employees at all locations for the Community Action Committee of Pike County. This department proactively monitors and maintains agency systems to prevent problems to improve productivity while providing technical support and delivering quality customer service. This department implements, administers, maintains, secures, and monitors local-area and wide-area networks, which include servers, network switches, firewalls and wireless access points. This department implements, administers and maintains computers, printers, peripherals, software applications, websites, social media, Office365 implementation, configuration and maintenance, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams implementation and maintenance, security camera systems, VOIP telephones and faxes, network, email and other user accounts, antivirus/firewall/malware protection, backups, and other technology hardware, throughout the CAC network. This department is responsible for the procurement of all Information Technology throughout the agency including I.T. equipment asset tracking as well as the creation of agency I.T. policies and procedures. This department also collaborates with departments to assist with all I.T. projects.

The Security Systems Administrator provides ongoing support for information systems and cyber security for the Information Technology Program. This position requires strong communication skills while holding a high standard of confidentiality. The Security Systems Administrator will assist the Information Technology Manager with the overall security of the Information Technology infrastructure across all locations at CAC. The Security Systems Administrator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining all information systems, protecting the information for all CAC staff and those we serve.

· Monitor and maintain cyber security tools.
· Works with Information Technology team to determine and remedy agency I.T. security risks.
· Assess the security needs of CAC and develop new strategies to improve those needs.
· Maintain cyber security plans.
· Assist with maintaining business continuity plans.
· Will perform role as a member of the Confidentiality and Security Team for Valley View Health Centers.
· Create, maintain, and terminate user accounts for all systems including domain account, email, social media accounts, etc.
· Responsible for security within the Office365 Administration platform. This includes Entra, Endpoint Manager, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
· Implement and maintain VPN access.
· Assign, review and maintain file and folder permissions.
· Maintain patch management for all devices.
· Provide helpdesk support for all security related issues.
· Collaborates with the Information Technology team on tasks and projects.
· Collaborate with the Information Technology team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of processes.
· Responsible for establishing and safeguarding network traffic along with providing network security support services on firewall devices.
· Assign and monitor site access control such as proximity entry systems.
· Be an active team member by providing input, feedback, ideas and areas for improvement.
· Follow all fiscal procurement policies and procedures.
· Works with Information Technology team to strive to meet key performance indicators (KPI’s).
· Attend I.T. monthly meetings.

· Provides excellent customer service to all CAC employees.

· Assist with implementation, configuration, replacement, update of networking hardware equipment (routers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points) throughout CAC.
· Assist with major technology-related projects for the agency, which includes research and deployment.
· Works directly with third-party support in a professional manner to assist with I.T. troubleshooting needs.
· Research and implement technology needs in the best interest of CAC and our employees.

· Assist the Information Technology Manager with creating, implementing and maintaining security and awareness training.

Minimum Requirements…
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
Job-Related Experience:
Minimum of 5 years professional experience in an Information Technology related position/field.
Knowledge/experience of network security
Knowledge/experience in cyber security
Knowledge/experience IT hardware/software troubleshooting, installation, configuration, maintenance, repair and upgrades

Working Conditions…
Position is in a well-lighted office environment. This position requires occasional local and regional travel (up to 10%) for the purpose of providing IT support to all agency locations. Occasional evening work is needed. Work is fast-paced and deadline- driven involving multiple priorities, often competing priorities, and the management of complex project details. Can involve moderate-to-high levels of stress. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
