You will work closely with our clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solar projects on time and within budget.
As a Solar Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of solar projects from start to finish. This includes conducting site evaluations, managing permitting processes, coordinating with engineering and construction teams, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining project documentation, tracking project progress, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should have a strong understanding of solar energy systems and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Previous experience in project coordination or management within the renewable energy industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of solar energy projects
- Conduct site evaluations to determine project feasibility
- Develop project plans and timelines, and ensure they are adhered to
- Manage permitting processes and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure project specifications are met
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Maintain project documentation and ensure it is complete and accurate
- Identify and resolve any issues or risks that may arise during project execution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or management
- Strong understanding of solar energy systems and technologies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of permitting processes and regulations related to solar energy projects
