Responsibilities:

  • Manage primary contracts with clients, including daily client interaction, preparation and submission of cost proposals, processing ongoing contract modifications, handling regular requests for additional work, and fulfilling audit and annual review requirements.
  • Supervise significant contracts across various types, including Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Time & Material (T&M), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) arrangements.
  • Oversee third-party contracts for software, hardware, and services, ensuring smooth transition and effective management.
  • Lead the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and administration of contracts.
  • Evaluate and approve contractual documents to safeguard the company's contractual position, ensure compliance with customer specifications and requirements, and adhere to company policies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in interpreting the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), collaborating closely with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) auditors.
  • Provide comprehensive support to contracts from inception through completion and closure.
  • Review and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements.
  • Advise management on contractual rights and obligations, interpret Terms and Conditions, and negotiate contract terms.
  • Monitor contract expenditures and prepare monthly expenditure reports for clients.
  • Assist with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submissions.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance colleagues on invoicing and aged receivables.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required; 10+ years of progressively responsible and relevant experience in the contracting arena.
  • Must hold an active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contracting and subcontracting in the government arena.
  • Expertise in FAR and DFARS interpretation.
  • Thorough understanding of the requirements of applicable government regulations.
  • Direct supervisory/management experience and proven leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to mentor and train assigned staff as needed.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in proposal development, negotiations, and communication skills.
  • Experienced multi-tasker that can effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and positive approach and enjoy working with others in a dynamic workplace.
  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
