HOURS: 

7:00 am – 5:00 pm, M-F, some evenings and overtime (candidate should be available to work an 8-10 hr. shift within the hours listed here, depending on the season and current needs of WSI)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Fleet Management Data Coordination:

    • Oversee data entry for fleet management, including costs, labor hours, and user access at an administrative level.

  2. Operational Dispatch Support:

    • Handle all aspects of operational dispatching, including monitoring emails, phone calls, and associate inquiries.

  3. Assistance to Operations Manager (OM) and Route Coordinator:

    • Route Planning and Analysis:

      • Utilize route planning software (CRO) to analyze, adjust, and optimize daily delivery efficiency.

    • Route Pattern Analysis:

      • Evaluate current route delivery patterns and volume, making necessary adjustments to ensure maximum productivity for each truck and driver.

    • Driver/Route Monitoring:

      • Track the progress of driver/route completion, maintaining daily logs with start and end times.

    • Seasonal and Holiday Adjustments:

      • Forecast and adjust routes for seasonal and holiday demands, including reassigning routes if a driver is unavailable.

    • Software Updates:

      • Update site and customer information in the software, such as gate codes, toilet placements, and relocations.

    • Customer Interaction Documentation:

      • Document all customer interactions in the database for excellent record-keeping.

    • Real-Time Notifications:

      • Notify customers of any blocked, skipped, or inaccessible stops on their routes in real time.

    • Data Recording and Analysis:

      • Record and analyze large datasets to enhance company efficiencies and cost management.

  • 2+ years of route system experience or related field
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Geographical knowledge of service area and/or efficiency in using google maps/mapping software
  • Experience using analytics in routing or related field
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized; superior time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn other software applications used in Geotab, CRO and more.
  • Excellent team player plus willing to grow and pivot when necessary
