Recruiting and Onboarding Navigator

Job Title: Recruiting and Onboarding Navigator

Status: Full Time

Schedule: 8am-4pm

Salary Range: $50,000/year

What will I do in this role with Garden Spot?

  • Determine departmental employment needs along with the qualifications and requirements for current and future positions.
  • Interact with prospective team members to market to and coach candidates through the interview process, including answering questions, clarifying interview locations, reminding them of upcoming interviews and encouraging them throughout the process.
  • Ensure hiring managers are communicating timely with both applicants and our recruiting partners in order to maintain efficiency throughout the requisition, recruiting and onboarding processes.
  • Brand management - work with Marketing/Creative team to monitor social media channels to ensure our "employment" brand is promoted and enhanced.
  • Work with managers to develop, update and maintain job descriptions.
  • Coordinate the intern process for individuals who are looking for internship opportunities at GSC.
  • Enhance the team member's onboarding experience. Ensure that each team member is tied into our mission and purpose and has a strong sense of belonging. Ensure that they understand the resident and team member value proposition and knows the importance of their role to GSC.
  • Manage the "Pathfinder" program so that each new team member is matched with a team member who can help them transition into their role.
  • Opportunity to contribute to or participate in a variety of teams to promote innovation initiatives to improve quality of service and care to our residents, team members and/or customers.

What do I need for this role with Garden Spot?

  • Prior experience in recruiting, onboarding or a related background preferred.
  • Proficient computers skills in Microsoft Office and proficiency with an HRIS system.
  • Basic knowledge of state, local, and federal employment laws.
  • An understanding of and willingness to live out our mission and values, providing compassionate person-centered care to all residents
