Job Summary:  

Native American Community Clinic’s Medication Assisted Treatment Program is seeking a full-time Coordinator.  

The program uses an integrated, harm reduction approach to providing holistic care to patients with Opioid Use Disorder. The program is culturally specific but does welcome all patients. The integrated team includes but is not limited to mental health professionals, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors, Spiritual Care Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, and Peer Recovery Specialists. The program uses both an office-based, prescription model as well as a structured in clinic dosing program. This role will support both areas of the MAT program and requires the ability to facilitate coordination between all aspects of the patients care.

The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high quality, culturally responsive services in a fast-paced environment. This position is an excellent opportunity to promote recovery within the Native American community and beyond.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients as they arrive at the clinic 

  • Manages the general flow of patients in the milieu 

  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of chemical health assessments and intakes

  • Assist with client group activities  

  • Attend weekly clinical review meetings 

  • Receive and process referrals from internal and external sources

  • Triage phone calls and requests, routes them to the appropriate staff 

  • Screen Medical intake requests and schedule based on high risk criteria

  • Schedule follow up appointments 

  • Transportation coordination for patients enrolled in the program

  • Assist with coordination of care between departments and with external organizations

  • Participate in community and outreach activities

  • Maintain supply inventory  

  • Assist with billing tasks such as audits

  • Scan documents and upload to electronic medical record 

  • Check insurance and ensure that client registration paperwork is up to date 

  • Maintenance of the common spaces, ensure that coffee and snacks are made available

  • Other tasks as assigned
