Job Description – Maintenance External Projects Supervisor

FSLA Status: Exempt

Location: Lordstown, OH

Reports To: Central Maintenance Director

Primary Function: As the Maintenance External Projects Supervisor, you will oversee external projects for the Central Maintenance and Facility Maintenance Teams. You will work with external and internal customers, provide updates to leadership and assist in maintenance needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the readiness of rail and shipping for vehicles and scrap metal.
  • Provide support for forestry management, including selecting or clear cutting.
  • Ensure all company vehicles are serviced and up to date on all maintenance needs.
  • Lead the Wildlife Management program
  • Be the liaison between external contractors and maintenance teams.
  • Provide updates to leadership team when necessary
  • Attend and host meeting necessary to upcoming projects or programs being developed.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education

  • HS Diploma

Required Experience

  • Field experience needed in three of the five areas.

Requires Skills/Licenses/Certifications

  • Proficient in all Micro Soft products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.
