Empowered Staffing is partnered with a luxury retailer (jewelry) with multiple locations in North Carolina. Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Sales and Operations to join their team based in Winston-Salem. As the Director of Sales and Operations, you will lead and oversee all aspects of sales operations, playing a pivotal role in devising and implementing effective strategies, processes, and systems to drive sales growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives, emphasizing a customer-centric approach and ensuring competitiveness in the market.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to enhance sales effectiveness and achieve revenue goals.
  • Continuously optimize sales processes to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and elevate the overall customer experience.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, offering coaching and feedback to support them in meeting individual and collective targets.
  • Partner closely with sales representatives and stakeholders to develop accurate sales forecasts, monitor inventory levels, and support demand planning efforts.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports and dashboards, highlighting KPIs, sales trends, and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Oversee the utilization and maintenance of the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and leveraging its capabilities to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team, delivering training and support to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and customer service capabilities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities through ongoing market research, identifying opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales operations or management roles within the jewelry or luxury retail industry is essential.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a successful track record of motivating and managing sales teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, capable of prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, dedicated to achieving results and meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at presenting information and influencing stakeholders across all organizational levels.
