Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of surveying professionals to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Establish and promote quality standards for all projects and work performed by the group.
  • Foster a culture of safety within the surveying team.
  • Develop proposals and contracts that accurately define project scope, achieve desired profitability, and ensure feasible project schedules.
  • Contribute to the development of short-term and long-term strategic plans for the Piedmont-Triad market.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage long-term partnerships.
  • Oversee the profitable operation of the Piedmont-Triad land surveying group.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Geomatics preferred.
  • 7+ years of land surveying experience, including both office and field work.
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience in a related field.
  • Strong motivation to develop and expand the land surveying sector within the Piedmont-Triad market.
  • Proven ability to work within a multi-discipline engineering firm, serving diverse clients with varying project deliverable standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and mentoring a team of surveying professionals.
  • Ability to independently manage and grow key client relationships.
  • Possess the technical expertise to guide and support the surveying team through successful project execution and delivery.
