The Austin Waldorf School is seeking a MS (6th-8th grades) volleyball coach for the 2024-2025 school year. Middle school coaching experience is preferred but not required. Applicants need to be able to work in a collaborative environment and have strong communication skills with players, parents, administrators, and other coaches. This is a part-time seasonal position, happening in August-October.


 

The MS Volleyball Coach is required to:


  • Work with the other MS volleyball coaches to plan and lead all MS practices and work closely with the varsity volleyball head coach 
  • Attend all games for the assigned team
  • Attend AWS athletics staff meetings
  • Complete all required AWS training
  • Send weekly messages to parents (more often if needed)
  • Meet with players and parents as needed
  • Attend and speak at the athletics banquet
