Role:

To assist members and potential members with their Credit Union needs directly and through other

Centric Service Representatives; provides expertise with respect to more complex Credit Union services such as IRAs, certificates of deposit, electronic funds transfer, MyCentric Online Banking etc.; explains services, sets up new accounts, assist with loan applications and resolve member problems.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

50% Assists members with opening and closing accounts and loan applications. Reviews credit reports and offers solutions to members while working hand in hand with loan officers to implement solutions. Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross sells services to members.

30% Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders and cashiers checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records. Balances daily transactions.

5% Acts as liaison between members and various organizations and departments.

5% Assists with balancing of ATM, pods and vault.

5% Maintains member account information on various Credit Union systems.

5% Performs other related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:
  1. Responsible for the delivery of Live Centric service by connecting, engaging, navigating, transacting, reviewing products & services as well as offer an introduction of solutions, to all members at each point of contact.
  2. To open all types of accounts/certificates, loans and other products and services accurately, ensures all related forms are complete and legible with minimal errors.
  1. To post new member transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
  2. To troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
  3. To proactively seek opportunities to cross-sell products and services to help our members live better.
  4. To sell a minimum of new products per quarter as set by management.
  5. To develop and improve knowledge and skills in Live Centric.
  6. To ensure that all operations for assigned products are in compliance with governing regulations.
  1. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
  1. To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.

Education: A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills: Working knowledge of regulations relating to all Credit Union deposit products (Reg E, Reg CC, Reg D, Truth-in-Savings Act).

Physical Requirements: Able to operate technology associated with online banking such as mobile devices, personal computer and microsoft office. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit for long periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to multi-task within a high paced environment. To provide a positive gossip free work place to all you come in contact with.
